A couple of years ago I read about the Tour De Lemons in a car magazine and decided it was something which I would love to try. Coming from England I was aware of several of the Banger Rallies which took place there and this was something that always appealed to me. Anyone who knows me, knows I am crazy about cars and all things automotive.

We have just returned from yesterday's Motor Heritage Run, and here are the photos.
Thank you to all the people who turned up, despite the absolutely dreadful weather!
The spin in the wet by the MX5 was eventually diagnosed to rubbish tyres! It seems that Dunlop SP 200s are simply dreadful in the wet. The Triumph Herald was having problems half way round so that team jumped into another car for the rest of the run.
Not sure what the best car was on the run, close run thing between the Triumph Herald, the Ford Cortina, Jaguar XK or the Rover SD1 2300.
