The inaugural BABE Rally has been a great success and arrives in New Orleans. Teams have taken $250 over 1500 miles in 4 days to complete the first ever American Banger Rally.
June 2, 2006 - The groundbreaking BABE Rally(1) (Big Apple to Big Easy) finished in New Orleans, bringing with it 30 banged up old cars and over 70 enthusiastic participants, who were exhausted, but had the party of their lives!

On May 28, 2006, Big Apple 2 Big Easy (BABE) Rally rolled into history as the conclusion of the first ever StreetSafari style European Banger Rally to roll on American soil. At the end of it all, about the only thing we had energy to say was "Wow." Of course, once we caught our breath we actually had a lot more to say about it. This is a bit of the highlights of a truly wonderful run.
