It's that time of the year when we announce StreetSafari's 2012 Season!

The winners of Staples2Naples 2011 Banger Rally are:

S2N2011 Group Photo on Day 3, Lecco, Italy. Day 3 is traditionally Fancy Dress/Costume Day. The 2011 theme for European events is nurses. In retrospect, we have decided to rename the theme Nurses: Bad Medicine.

Perhaps we were a bit optimistic to call this the group photo, as about half the teams were suspiciously absent. For some reason, we want to blame stockings.

Staples2Naples 2010 was a small affair. Previous years have seen much bigger groups, but small isn't a bad thing.

It's been a few years since we've done a music video on the events (BABE Rally 2008 was the last) so in a moment of "Yeah, what the heck" we decided to have a bit of fun with the nuns on Staples2Naples.

S2N2010 Group Photo on Day 2, just outside Sarnen, Switzerland. The official Staples2Naples group photo has been taken on this same spot overlooking the Sarnersee since 2004.

The second photo was taken on Day 3 in Aprica, Italy. Day 3 is traditionally Fancy Dress/Costume Day. The 2010 theme for European events was "Nuns on the Run".

The Staples2Naples2010 Gallery is viewable as a slideshow or as a full gallery.

The 7th Staples2Naples is an interesting one. Every event is different, and none more so than Staples2Naples. It attracts less veteran teams as the veterans move on to CzechWrecks and the other events, and has a larger proportion of first time teams than any of the the other events.

We've said it before, but it bears repeating. Staples2Naples is the see-and-be-seen event of the banger rally world. But then again, it is the original European banger rally and the one that started the entire craze.
